Shubman Gill has created history by scoring the highest individual score by an Indian captain in a Test match in England.
In the Test match at Edgbaston in Birmingham, Gill batting at number four scored his 7th Test century and his first score above 150 in this format. His score of 222* surpassed Mohammad Azharuddin’s previous record for the highest individual score by an Indian captain in England.
