Match Summary
The victory just came 10 days after Lee Carsley’s side had lost 2-1 in the same fixture during the tournament’s group stage. There was probably a moment to breathe through out for fans, players, and their supporters.
Harvey Elliot and Omari Hutchison put England 2-0 in the front which means they were leading from the front up inside in 25 minutes only but the game changed very much after an hour, with goal from Nelson Weiper and Paul Nebel ultimately sending the game into extra – time this shows that you have to work hard till the end.
At the end of 90 minutes – and again with almost the last kick of extra time – Antonio Di Salvo’s Germany struck the crossbar.
