Thomas Partey Faces Sexual Assault

Thomas Teye Partey is a Ghanian professional footballer he plays as a defensive midfielder, most recently for Premier league Club Arsenal and the Ghana national team. Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been charged with five counts of sexual assault by the Metropolitan Police Service.

The police said that the offenses, which they say to happen between 2021 and 2022, relate to two counts of rape of a second woman, three counts of rape of a second woman, and one count of sexual assault of a third woman. The 32-year-old will appear at Westminster Magistrates ‘court on 5 August.

Partey joined Arsenal in 45 million transfers from Spanish club Atletico Madrid in 2020. He has been a free agent since his Arsenal contract ended on Monday.
