The second edition of Delhi Premier League is here in 2025. They are two new franchises have been added to the second season of the men’s edition of DPL i.e. Outer Delhi Warriors and New Delhi Tigers making it total of 8 teams competition this year.
Also the Women’s edition is going to happen with same 4 – teams as last season.
The auction for the new season of DPL is going to be organised on 6th July for men’s edition and on 7th July for women’s edition at 10:00 AM (IST) at Taj Hotel, New Delhi. The board has decided that, only one player can be retained by each franchise, and also the purse for them has been decided as 1.5 Cr for men’s teams and 75 Lakhs for the women’s teams. Also franchises got the RTM (Right to Match) rule and can use it at the time of bidding.
