Iga Swiatek Wins Wimbledon 2025 Final with Historic 6-0, 6-0 Victory Over Anisimova

Iga Swiatek Wins Wimbledon 2025 Final

Iga Swiatek has won her first Wimbledon by defeating Amanda Anisimova.

Final Score is Iga Świątek (POL) defeated Amanda Anisimova (USA) 6‑0, 6‑0 in just 57 minutes.

Iga Swiatek has made history, it was the only second time when there was a “double bagel” in Wimbledon. The final time it happened was in 1911 because Iga Swiatek won the final match by 6-0, 6-0 and that’s called double bagel. It’s called a double bagel because 0 looks like a bagel.

Iga has shown clear dominance, she won 55 of 79 points, serving at 78% first serve accuracy and she broke Anisimova’s serve every time. The match only lasted 57 minutes.

It is Iga’s first Wimbledon title and sixth Grade Slam. Iga has been undefeated in Grade Slam finals and she has become the first polish tennis player to win Wimbledon singles.

Iga Świątek is known as a clay court specialist but on grass court she played incredibly and aggressively.

Amanda Anisimova the finalist, she reached the final for the first time

but Iga played incredibly to defeat her, lessons to learn from here.

The ceremony took place in the end and princess Catherine, the princess of Wales

and AELTC patrons presented Swiatek with the Venus Rosewater Dish, and they comforted Anisimova.
